Welcome to the Ender's Game Wiki! Here are the rules, regulations and policies of the wiki. EVERY user must understand and comply to these rules. In the case that any of these rules are broken, consequences will be applied.
If you have any more suggestions or if you are confused, please contact one of the administrators.
General Rules[]
- Be respectful to all users. Do not argue, insult, threaten, harass, or disrespect users or their opinions.
- Spamming of any sort is not allowed. This includes spamming images, links, words, (meaningless) edits, etc.
- Vandalism on the wiki is strictly prohibited.
- Please communicate in English only. This is an English-speaking wiki.
- Even if you are not a native English speaker, please try your best to speak in English.
- The use of alternative accounts is not tolerated, unless you have permission to do so.
- If you are caught "sockpuppeting" (using multiple accounts to bypass rules or bans), there will be a harsher punishment.
Editing Rules[]
- This wiki is dedicated to canon Ender's Game content only. See Canon for more information on what belongs and does not belong on the wiki.
- Constant edit fighting or constant vandalism to pages will cause them to be protected.
- Please read your edits thoroughly and double check grammar and spelling before submitting your edits.
- Please use formal language while writing articles. This is a wiki, not a blog.
- Please do not add speculation to pages. Only proven, referenceable information can be added.
- Please limit the amount of edits you make, as a lot of edits tend to spam the wiki activity.
- Do not change infobox images without first consulting an admin.
- Do not rename article pages without first consulting an admin.
- Uploaded images are to be of the highest possible quality.
Discussions Guidelines[]
- Try to find existing discussions first to see if a discussion already exists about the question you have. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, go ahead and create a new post!
- Please make the title as specific as possible. Titles such as "Question" give others no indication of what might be going on.
Consequences[]
There are consequences for the breaking of these rules. The punishments depend on which rule is broken and which contributor has committed the offense. The Ender's Game Wiki staff usually will go by the 'Three Strike Policy' for registered contributors unless a major rule is broken.
Anonymous User Rule Breaking[]
If an anonymous contributor breaks a major rule, they will automatically be banned for a certain amount of time. If the offense is vandalism, the contributor will be banned permanently with no appeal.
Registered User Rule Breaking[]
Minor Rule Breaking[]
- First Offense: A brief warning which explains what you have done.
- Second Offense: Depending on which rule is broken, you may receive a second warning, or a short ban.
- Third Offense: If you continue after the second warning you will receive a long ban. If you continue after the short ban you will be banned permanently.
Major Rule Breaking[]
The breaking of these rules have a much harsher punishment.
- First Offense: Depending on which rule is broken, you will either be banned for a certain period of time or a permanent ban.
