The Stability Boots or Stabs were anti-gravity boots created by Magoosa to keep a soldier on the ground during combat in Formic tunnels.[1]
Design and Function[]
On the bottom of the boots, the Stabs had a triangle of rods, which would extend in and out from the boot. The rods would be controlled by an individual flexing their toes, which would attach and detach the boots from a surface.[1]
History[]
The Stabs were developed by Magoosa and Victor Delgado for Mazer Rackham to use in tunnel combat against the Formics. The technology was not the first designed by the two with this purpose. Two of the earlier technologies included a tunnel cart and a spider harness. The boots were the most simple and least finicky of the technologies.[1]
