Kleopatra was a Juke Limited-owned asteroid city that was home to more than seven thousand residents.[1] It is based off of the real-life 216 Kleopatra asteroid.

Kleopatra was an elongated asteroid with two wide ends and a thin middle. Each end had a part of the city situated on it.[3]

When the Formic scout ship approached the asteroid during the First Formic War, free miners and corporate ships from Juke Limited, Minetec, and WU-HU created a blockade to stall the Formic ship. The asteroid was destroyed by a gamma plasma exhaust burst, along with most of the mining ship blockades. The few ships to survive would still try to slow the Formic ship, but eventually, they were picked off one by one. This conflict became known as the Battle of the Belt.[2]
