Little information was given about the Ecstatic Shield. It was said that the Molecular Disruption Device could penetrate its defenses, and that the generator of the Shield was always in the center.[1]
History[]
It was stated that the Formics learned how to set up the shield after the First Formic War.[1]
Canonicity[]
Although Ender's Game explicitly mentions the Ecstatic Shield's correlation with the First Formic War, it is not featured or mentioned at all in the First Formic War Trilogy, nor the Second Formic War Trilogy. Thus, according to the Canon rules of the Ender's Game Wiki it is considered non-canon.[2][3]
