Ishmerai Averbach was the second Polemarch after the forced resignation of Khudabadi Ketkar. He was first mentioned in The Swarm.

History

The Swarm

After Polemarch Ketkar resigned from his position, Averbach was named as the next Polemarch. Soon after coming into power, he specifically requested for Victor Delgado to join him via a Zipship on his personal ship, the Vandalorum that was heading towards the Formic warships.

The Hive

Averbach participated in Operation Sky Siege (F2) aboard his flagship, the Revenor. He was killed when the helm of the Revenor was breached.

Trivia

• While only named once in The Swarm, an interview conducted with Aaron Johnston revealed that Averbach was the brother of the Mobile Operations Police soldier Averbach, who died in Earth Afire.
