Valentine Wiggin wrote a series of books that covered the history of the Formic Wars under her pseudonym of Demosthenes. In the third volume, she mentioned that the International Fleet's failure to pay attention to the asteroid Eros during the Second Formic War was their greatest mistake.[1]
